Fabrizio Romano reveals Chelsea’s next two signings AFTER Gittens and Joao Pedro
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea’s next two summer transfer targets are a centre back and another attacker.
The Blues have embarked on another spending spree this summer, bringing in a host of exciting new signings.
This week, Chelsea will officially announce two more expensive players/
Jamie Gittens will arrive from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of €64 million, while Joao Pedro will be signed from Brighton for €70m.
Chelsea’s next two signings
Romano says that the next two areas of the pitch Chelsea will look to address is at centre back and another offensive player.
“Chelsea are not done yet on the market; they are looking at center backs and potentially one more offensively.,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
Chelsea’s main target at centre back had initially been Dean Huijsen but he has since joined Real Madrid from Bournemouth.
Marc Guehi is also liked but Liverpool are ahead in the race for the Crystal Palace centre back.
Piero Hincapie is also liked at Bayer Leverkusen as is Lazio’s Mario Gila.
In the attack, Chelsea first need to offload some players, in particular Christopher Nkunku.
The Blues have already signed a whole new frontline in Gittens, Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
It is believed they will look to sign a more experienced number 9 also.
Chelsea are enjoying an excellent Club World Cup currently and are into the quarter final of the competition in the United States.
They are next in action on Saturday when they will play Brazilian club Palmeiras.
