Chelsea make Nkunku stance clear as valuation is made
Chelsea have made their feelings clear regarding the future of Christopher Nkunku, who reportedly wishes to leave the club.
The Frenchman has failed to make the starting XI under Enzo Maresca and there have been reports that he is looking at his options and could leave Stamford Bridge.
He is a regular in Chelsea's 'B Team' , the side that plays cup competitions and in the Conference League, but it's thought that he is looking for more than that in the long run and it has grown frustrated with his lack of chances in more meaningful games against high-profile opposition.

Speaking to the media ahead of Chelsea's Conference League win over Heidenheim, Maresca insisted that his forward was 'absolutely' not for sale. "Not at all. I spoke with Christo days ago, he did not say he is not happy.
"Absolutely [he is not for sale], yes. The problem with Christo, not the problem but the same issue we have mentioned many times; if you play with Cole [Palmer], Joao [Felix], Christo, Jadon [Sancho] or Noni [Madueke] - who is defending? Their skill is not defending. The last game, we tried with Joao and Cole together.
Now The Athletic have reported that it would take something special to prise Nkunku away from Stamford Bridge. Their story read: "They do not want to sell Nkunku and it is hard to see how clubs can afford the minimum £52million valuation. Also, any major injuries to key players, including Nicolas Jackson, could have an impact on short-term thinking."
However, the story goes on to say that the Chelsea squad will be assessed over the coming months and decisions will be made by the recruitment team there.

Nkunku to Man Utd?
Earlier this month, it was reported Manchester United are interested in signing Chelsea duo Ben Chilwell and Nkunku next year.
Chilwell has been identified as a key left wing-back target by Amorim, according to CaughtOffside.
And there club also like Nkunku, as per multiple reports, with Amorim’s side looking to complete a double Chelsea swoop in 2025.
Despite his lack of involvement in the Premier League, Nkunku is currently Chelsea’s top goalscorer across all competitions so far this season, with 10 goals in 17 games.
