If you follow England’s youth setup closely, you would know all about Mikey Moore.

In May, the Tottenham wonderkid scored within 81 seconds, his first of what would be a brace, in a 4-0 victory against France in the Under-17s European Championships.

Moore is one of the brightest future stars at Spurs, with it thought that several major teams across Europe have been keeping tabs on the youngster.

But just who is Moore and how good is he?

Moore is predominantly an inverted right-winger but he can also play as a striker or attacking midfielder.

Moore is a regular in first-team training for Spurs and made his debut for the club against Manchester City at the tailend of the 2023/24 season.

The teenager also came on as a substitute during Spurs' 3-0 win over Sheffield United, taking the place of James Maddison.

Moore, who featured twice in the last week of the Premier League season, was talked up by Ange Postecoglou in a recent interview.

“Mikey Moore has been really good training with us. Look he's a very talented boy and for him,” he told Football.London.

“The reports I've had on him have always been outstanding. He hasn't looked out of place, and it's great for him.

"Obviously we've had a couple of weeks without a game and it's been good to get him involved in the first team. Again, to be fair to him he has adapted really well, he hasn't looked out of place and it's great for him. Hopefully it gives encouragement to him and some of the other guys who are coming through."

Moore joined the Tottenham Under-18s from the Spurs youth side just last summer but has already justified the promotion.

In the Premier League Under-18s last season, it took just 12 games for Moore to score an incredible 14 goals while providing eight assists.

He also netted two goals and provided an assist in two games of the FA Youth Cup.

No club names have been mentioned concerning Moore but the Daily Mail reported that a number of elite sides had their eyes on him.

Moore was born on 11 August 2007. He is 16 years old at the time of writing.

In June 2023, Moore committed his future to the club by agreeing a deal to move from scholarship to a professional contract when he turns 17, with the deal ending in 2026.
