Chelsea and Manchester United are the latest Premier League giants credited with an interest in Rodrygo.

It is thought that the Real Madrid attacker is facing an uncertain future at the club due to the impending arrival of Kylian Mbappe. Rodrygo appears to be one of the candidates Real Madrid could offload in a bid to help balance the books and make more summer signings in addition to the French megastar.

Mbappe is expected to supplant the Brazilian in Los Blancos' side and with compatriot Endrick also joining, Rodrygo's game time could be severely restricted in the future. In light of this, a whole host of elite clubs have been linked with the 23-year-old.

Chelsea, Man Utd enter the race

According to HITC, Chelsea and Man Utd are keeping themselves informed on Rodrygo's situation at Real Madrid. The two sides are keeping tabs on the forward with a view to potentially pouncing in the summer.

If the youngster were indeed to become available, which the report acknowledges looks unlikely right now, clubs would be expected to queue up for his signature, though he obviously wouldn't come cheap, and there are, of course, questions about his willingness to depart the Santiago Bernabeu.

Both Man Utd and Chelsea are expected to be in the market for a new forward this summer, but it is thought that they are looking for a more traditional number nine rather than a wide player who can also play centrally such as Rodrygo. Those plans could, of course, change should the Brazilian be made available for a reasonable price.
