Man Utd wonderkid could hold the key to SHOCK Osimhen swoop

Napoli are interested in Manchester United wonderkid Willy Kambwala, according to Italian media.
The 19-year-old Frenchman first burst onto the scene in December after being thrust into Man Utd's team by Erik ten Hag. The youngster recently impressed again with an imperious performance against rivals Liverpool.
Kambwala's emergence could be one of the reasons why Man Utd appear oddly calm about the impending departure of Raphael Varane. The ex-Real Madrid star's contract is up in the summer and there has thus far been no indication that the Red Devils want to extend his Old Trafford stay, according to Fabrizio Romano.

While Kambwala appears the heir-apparent to Varane, Man Utd may face a struggle to keep hold of him. According to Dot Sport, Napoli have identified the teenager as the belated successor to Kim Min-jae, who departed for Bayern Munich last summer.
The South Korean's absence has been bitterly felt in Naples this season, with the reigning Serie A champions not putting up much of a fight in defence of their title.
Kambwala to unlock Osimhen deal?
Napoli's interest in Kambwala is interesting when viewed with regard to Victor Osimhen's future. Though it seems that the battle for his signature will come down to Chelsea and PSG, it has been claimed that Man Utd can't be counted out despite them seemingly focusing on Ivan Toney instead.
It has been asserted that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and company could launch an assault for Osimhen if Man Utd manage to make it into the Champions League. Given their recent results, this seems unlikely at this point, but it is still very much possible in theory.

According to the above-mentioned report, everyone at Napoli is convinced of Kambwala's ability and they appear very keen indeed on snapping him up. Man Utd could exploit this desire by offering the defender to sweeten the deal for Osimhen.
The chances of this materialising, however, are very slim; almost as slim as the chances of Real Madrid signing Kobbie Mainoo.
