Man Utd are reportedly on red alert this morning (Tuesday) after the news that PSG are likely to sell superstar striker Kylian Mbappe THIS SUMMER.

The brilliant 24-year-old informed the French giants that he will not trigger a one-year extension to his current deal, meaning he would be out of contract in the summer of 2024.

PSG though are likely now to sell Mbappe in the coming weeks rather than risk losing him for free in 12 months' time.

Multiple outlets report that United are likely to be the only real challengers to Real Madrid for Mbappe's signature.

One stumbling block to a massive Old Trafford move is the current takeover saga, with British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari royal Sheikh Jassim both still battling to acquire the club from the Glazers.

Man Utd lead Barcelona in race to sign 'the new Haaland'

We have led the way in recent months about Erik Ten Hag's interest in signing 'the next Erling Haaland' - Atalanta's brilliant Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund.

Now it seems the Red Devils are inching ahead of Barcelona in the race to land the brilliant hitman after he admitted on Monday that a move to Old Trafford would be right up his street.

The 20-year-old told Danish outlet Berlingske: “It's a huge club, so I must have done something right if it says they want me. My goal is to reach the top shelf, and you can say that Manchester United is. So it will be huge.”

Oh, and by the way, Hojlund also announced on Monday that he was changing agents. It seems a transfer is very likely in the coming weeks.

As we have exclusively reported in recent weeks, Hojlund would not come cheap, with United unlikely to be able to push through a deal for less than €60m and Atalanta in no crazy rush to sell.

Sancho upgrade targeted as €75m Bundesliga star on the radar

United are reportedly considering an upgrade to the underwhelming Jadon Sancho as they continue to build their summer transfer plan.

The Daily Mail reports that the Red Devils are eyeing Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby with the young Frenchman likely to be priced at around €75m.

Also reportedly interested in Diaby are Arsenal and Newcastle United.

Saliba blow as centre-back set to STAY with Arsenal

News now of a deal which will NOT happen, with United set to miss out with a late bid to snatch defender William Saliba from Arsenal.

It now appears likely that Saliba will pen a new deal with the Gunners (for four years with potential for a fifth), but RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports that there were other bidders for his services.

Hawkins claims Man Utd were one of the interested parties - along with German giants Bayern Munich.
