The climax of the Premier League season is approaching and Manchester United have been given some unwelcome news with regards the fitness of key centre-back Lisandro Martinez.

The World Cup winner is likely to miss the rest of the season because of an injury picked up in Thursday’s Europa League encounter against Sevilla, leaving manager Erik ten Hag bereft of one of his stars this season.

It’s not all bad news for the former Ajax boss, though, with Man Utd actually performing better without the pair – and by quite some distant, too.
