The England international limped out of Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Everton with a groin problem, throwing the conclusion of Man Utd’s season into doubt as they may potentially have to cope without their leading scorer.

Rashford, who has 27 goals for the season in 47 appearances, including 19 since the World Cup, has been linked with a potential move to PSG.

All indications, though, are that the player’s preference is to remain at Old Trafford, where he has spent the duration of his entire professional career.

There are fears, however, that his season may have been ended at the weekend as he limped off against Everton with 10 minutes of the match remaining. He is poised to miss Thursday’s Europa League encounter with Sevilla and will undergo a scan imminently to confirm the extent of his problem.

Rashford had previously missed only two games for Man Utd across all competitions.
