Dusan Vlahovic snubbed Arsenal for Juventus last year, but now he may be open to a move to North London after all.

The Serb has struggled to adjust to life in Turin and find the same outrageous goalscoring form that convinced Juve to part with €81.6 million back in January 2022. Although the former Fiorentina man has hit 20 goals in 51 games for the Bianconeri, he has ultimately had to find out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Indeed, before signing for Juventus, Arsenal were heavily linked with the 23-year-old, but Vlahovic snubbed Mikel Arteta's project because he thought a move to the Old Lady would be better for his career.

This has not proved to be the case, however. While Arsenal are on course to win the Premier League title, Juventus were hit with a points deduction in Serie A and crashed out in the Champions League groups stage.

At the time of Vlahovic's move to Turin, former Real Madrid man Antonio Cassano labelled the striker's decision as "sensationally wrong," and the Serb now seems to agree with the Italian's prescient sentiment.

Welcome to Arsenal?

FourFourTwo writes that Vlahovic has changed his mind regarding a move to Arsenal, and they claim he even wants to join the Gunners this summer if Mikel Arteta successfully guides them to the Premier League title.

Arsenal, it must be said, have done quite well for themselves without Vlahovic. Gabriel Jesus turned out to be an inspired piece of business, and he has played a big role in their title challenge, scoring seven goals all while dealing with fitness issues.

Despite this, Arsenal are said to be in the market for a "physical" striker this summer, and Vlahovic would be an ideal fit. The Gunners may, at last, get their man, albeit a year-and-a-half late.
