Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has blasted the club in his latest press conference after a 3-3 draw with Southampton in the Premier League.

Spurs were 3-1 up when Ivan Perisic scored in the 71st minute but conceded two late goals to Theo Walcott and James Ward-Prowse, respectively.

The result leaves them in fourth position in the Premier League table, although they are just two points ahead of Newcastle having played two games more.

Conte not only criticised his players in his post-game press conference but the history of the club.

The Italian bosses' job could come under scrutiny on the back of such scathing comments.

Conte's criticism

''The problem is we have shown we are not a team,'' the former Chelsea manager reportedly shouted. ''We are 11 players. I see selfish players. I see players that don’t want to help each other, don’t play with heart.''

''But here we are used to this for a long time. The club has the responsibility for the transfer market, the coaches come here and have responsibility. And the players? The players? Where are the players?''

''The players don't want to play under pressure. They don’t want to play under stress. Tottenham's story is this. 20 years and they never won something. Why? The fault is only the club or every manager that comes here?''

''Until now I try to hide the situation. But there are 10 games to go. People think we can fight? Fight for what? With this attitude, this spirit, this commitment. For seventh? Eighth place? I am really upset.''
