Erling Haaland’s magnificent start to the season has continued with his goal against Wolverhampton in the Premier League, extending his brilliant record.

The Norwegian forward has been flying for the Premier League champions, scoring in all but one of Manchester City’s seven Premier League game’s this season – the exception being Bournemouth at home.

That and the Community Shield match against Liverpool are the only fixtures he hasn’t scored in, showing the best of his talents and erasing any doubts over whether he could hack it in England.

Haaland has already claimed several records in his first few months in England, and is extending another, which stretches all the way back to 2020 when he joined Borussia Dortmund.

Haaland proving to be unstoppable everywhere he goes

The forward has scored 100 goals since the start of 2020, when he moved to Borussia Dortmund – a fantastic record that has taken just 99 matches for him.

He has reached this century in matches across all competitions, ranging from the German Bundesliga to the Champions League, and that is set to get better, given the start he has made in England.

The 22-year-old had a sensational two-and-a-half years at Borussia Dortmund, netting 86 goals in 89 appearances for the German club, netting 62 goals in 67 Bundesliga matches.

He also scored 15 goals in 13 European appearances across the Champions League and Europa League, and his overall numbers could’ve been even better had he not been injured for long periods.

For Manchester City, his record currently stands at 14 goals in 10 matches, including 11 in seven Premier League appearances, which has involved two hat-tricks in successive matches against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.

How much he can extend that number remains to be seen, but the way he has started, he is well on course to break the single-season scoring record of 32 in the Premier League, set by Mohamed Salah for Liverpool in 2017-18.
