More than €2 billion will be spent by time the Premier League transfer window closes, with a host of English teams throwing money around without a care in the world.

FOOTBALLTRANSFERS' MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD

Chelsea are set to surpass the €300m mark in spending, while Nottingham Forest have incredibly brought in more than 20 players in their first season back in the Premier League this millennium.

Elsewhere, Man City made arguably the signing of the summer in Erling Haaland, who already has nine goals in five Premier League games.

Arsenal have benefitted from an excellent market as they are top of the league with a 100 per cent record.

There have been a couple of €100m signings around Europe, including Darwin Nunez to Liverpool and Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid.

Barcelona have gambled on their future by spending heavily on stars like Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde. Bayern Munich and Juventus have also had a big turnover of players.

And most of these teams are expected to bring in more players on Deadline Day on September 1.

We have already seen a number of big moves with Man Utd confirming the €100 million signing of Antony from Ajax, who replaced him with Lucas Ocampos from Sevilla before also snapping up Florian Grillitsch on a free transfer.

Man City bought Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund, while Nottingham Forest surpassed 20 signings for the summer with Wily Boly from Wolves.

Man Utd got in on the action by bringing Martin Dubravka on loan from Newcastle.

Other noteworthy deals include Willian to Fulham, Sergino Dest to Milan and Julian Draxler to Benfica - the latter two on loan.

This page will list below all of the main confirmed transfers on deadline day from around Europe as they happen.
