Liverpool are heading into next season hoping to win some major silverware having narrowly missed out on the Premier League and Champions League last season.

The Reds were on course for the quadruple last campaign having won the FA Cup and League Cup, but lost out to Manchester City on the Premier League’s final day and were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have signed three players this summer in the form of Darwin Nunez, Calvin Ramsay and Fabio Carvalho in a bid to strengthen their team.

So, how will Liverpool line-up next season as they hope to challenge on all fronts next season?

Big change up top for Liverpool

In goal, Alisson will continue, as he showed his best form last season and it’s hard to see him being replaced anytime soon in this Liverpool side.

In defence, Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate will start at the back, with Joel Matip there to support the team as the prior two impressed whenever they played together last season.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson should continue, as they were in top form last season, and Calvin Ramsay can provide back up to Alexander-Arnold, while Kostas Tsimikas should back-up Robertson.

Liverpool’s midfield will be Fabinho, Thiago and Naby Keita will take the reins, with the likes of Harvey Elliot, Jordan Henderson and Carvalho will be there to back up.

The attack will see some big differences from last season following the departure of Sadio Mane, while Roberto Firmino might see his role reversed.

On the right, top scorer Mohamed Salah will retain his place having had a brilliant campaign last time around, and he’ll have some new partners to support him.

Luis Diaz will be on the left, having joined in January and made an immediate impact, performing in important matches and spurring them on during the season.

And up top, new signing Darwin Nunez should take his place having made a record move from Benfica, hoping to continue his great scoring run from last season.

Things could still change in the coming weeks of the transfer window, but Klopp is adamant on keeping this side and working with it for the campaign.
