That fresh deal saw the Frenchman become the highest-paid player in the world on a weekly wage of £1m (€1.16m) per week . In fact, Mbappe earns £600,000 (€696,000) more than the Salah, who leads the way in the Premier League.
Salah's new deal sees him slip into fourth place and he's followed by Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin de Bruyne, who both earn £385,000 (€447,000).
