Croatian star Luka Sucic has already been linked with a move to the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle.
Sucic is one of the brightest talents coming out of Red Bull Salzburg, a club credited with honing some of the brightest talents in the game now, including Erling Haaland, Benjamin Sesko, and Sadio Mane.
He has had a breakthrough season in the Austrian Bundesliga in the 2022/23 season, but what else do we know about the player?

Susic plays in midfield on the right side of a 4-3-3 with an eye for attack.
How good is Luka Sucic?
Sucic has earned plaudits for his performances for Red Bull Salzburg, showing maturity beyond his years in their setup.
The Austrian-born Croatian midfielder came through the Red Bull Salzburg academy – a state-of-the-art facility in Salzburg - and made his debut for the club in September 2020.
Sucic is a dead-ball specialist, and he was able to show his quality in the 2021-22 season, netting 11 goals across all competitions as Salzburg won another league and cup double. He is left-footed and is most dangerous in the final third of the pitch, hence his impressive goalscoring return as well as his five assists in the same campaign.
The youngster has represented Croatia across various age groups, and even made his debut for the senior national side in October 2021, playing alongside his hero, Luka Modric.

Like many Salzburg players past and present, there is always interest in their talent, and it’s no different in Sucic’s case, as he is chased by some of Europe’s best.
Liverpool showed interest in the player earlier in the year, but that has cooled off recently, while Newcastle have also shown interest in the dynamic midfielder.
