Arsenal are looking increasingly likely to finish in the top four this season and that could lead to a greater emphasis on additional signings in the summer transfer window.

The London club have spent no less than €136 million on new players this season and we can probably expect even more new faces ahead of next season.

However, to do that, Arsenal will likely have to raise funds in the coming transfer window by selling a number of squad players that simply aren’t up to scratch anymore.

Using the Arsenal squad page for each player’s market value and skill, we have noted which players could be sold on and how much the club could hope to make from their departure.

Matteo Guendouzi

The first player on this list is one that has already been confirmed as leaving Arsenal in the summer, in the form of midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

The young, French talent has been on loan at Marseille this season and having impressed at the Ligue 1 side the club’s president Pablo Longoria has since confirmed that Guendouzi will make the move permanent in the summer. The rumoured fee for the young midfielder stands at around €10m.

William Saliba

Another Arsenal player that is on loan at Marseille and could make his move to the south of France permanent is William Saliba. The central defender has remained an out-of-favour back up to Mikel Arteta since making the move to London in 2019 for no less than €30m.

According to Football London, Arsenal will review Saliba's role in Arteta's squad and make a decision on the defender's future at the end of the season. Although Saliba hasn’t managed to work his way into the Arsenal first team, he has impressed on loan at no less than three clubs since officially joining the club and is currently valued at €16m. There’s no doubt that Arsenal would demand a fee in the region of €30m for Saliba if he were to be sold this summer.

Lucas Torreira

Another on-loan Arsenal player that is making a name for himself on the continent is midfielder Lucas Torreira.

Despite pushing for a move away from the club last summer, Torreira was sent on loan to Fiorentina, where has become a useful squad player for Vincenzo Italiano's side.

The player is currently valued at €9m but reports from England and Italy suggest that the Florence side will need to pay €15m for the midfielder's signature this summer.

Hector Bellerin

Away from France, Arsenal also have a perfectly talented player currently on loan at Betis in Spain who could also be sold this summer for a substantial fee.

Hector Bellerin was attracting interest from a number of big clubs last year - most notable of which was Barcelona - and will likely be sold when he returns to Arsenal this summer. Bellering is currently valued at €9m but could demand a fee as high as €15m before next season.

Bernd Leno

In Bernd Leno, Arsenal have a perfectly good goalkeeper that is perhaps just in need of a new challenge and an entirely different club when the summer transfer window opens.

Having been dislodged from his position by Aaron Ramsdale, Leno will likely be sold at the end of the season and with a transfer value of €22m there’s every chance that Arsenal could make at least €20m from the Germany international.

Rob Holding

Another player that has struggled for game time under Arteta this season is Rob Holding, who has proved himself to be a perfectly capable Premier League defender but simply isn’t as good as Gabriel or Ben White in his manager’s eyes.

Despite that, Holding still has a contract at Arsenal until 2024 and with a value of €16m there’s no doubt that the club could hold out for a similar fee if they were to sell him this summer.

Granit Xhaka

Granit Xhaka came dangerously close to leaving Arsenal last summer when Roma came calling and there’s every chance that the former club captain could push for another move at the end of this season.

There’s no doubt that Arteta is rebuilding his squad in anticipation of Xhaka moving on this summer and despite a value of €26m in part due to his contract extension, Arsenal are likely to ask for around €20m if another club makes an offer this summer.

Nicolas Pepe

After truly failing to live up to his ridiculous transfer fee of €80m, Nicolas Pepe will almost certainly leave Arsenal this summer for far less than he cost to sign in the first place.

Reports in England have suggested that Arsenal would be willing to accept a figure of around €25m for the winger which certainly falls in line with his current value of around €22m.
