Man Utd optimistic of Mbeumo agreement
Man Utd are growing increasingly optimistic of signing Bryan Mbeumo after their latest bid, which is thought to have clocked in at over €70m.
The Cameroon international has been Man Utd's top target since the signing of Matheus Cunha, and the Red Devils continued talks despite having a bid rejected at the start of the month.
Mbeumo is prioritising a move to Man Utd despite being intrigued by the prospect of linking up with ex-Brentford boss Thomas Frank at Tottenham.
Tottenham move on from Mbeumo
Tottenham entered the race for Mbeumo after the appointment of Frank, but it seems that they are focusing on other options now, chiefly Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
The England international was also previously considered by Man Utd, but Mbeumo is the clear priority for the Red Devils as things stand.
Eze could leave Palace this summer, and the FA Cup winners will likely point to his €80m release clause as the benchmark for his cost.
Gyokeres won't change stance
Viktor Gyokeres is not changing his stance on a potential transfer to Man Utd, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Sporting CP striker is still prioritising a move to Arsenal and is not interested in joining the Red Devils as things stand.
However, there has still not been any meaningful progress regarding a move to Arsenal amid his ongoing dispute with Sporting.
Man Utd get Carnesecchi boost
Man Utd have been linked with Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi in recent days and weeks as they scour the market for a potential upgrade on Andre Onana.
The Red Devils have now been handed a boost in their pursuit of the Italy international as Atalanta have already identified a replacement in the shape of Elia Caprile, who recently had his loan from Napoli to Cagliari made permanent.
Carnesecchi has established himself as one of Serie A's best goalkeepers in recent seasons and could be on the move this summer.
Sancho receives Fenerbahce offer
Jadon Sancho has received a lucrative contract offer from Fenerbahce, who have also made contact with Man Utd regarding a potential deal for the winger.
The Istanbul giants are ready to sign Sancho on a permanent deal, although they are facing competition from Italy, where Napoli and Juventus are also keen.
Sancho will be sold by Man Utd this summer, although the Red Devils are probably keen to get more than the touted €18m Fenerbahce are currently offering.
