The 2026 summer transfer window is now officially open for Premier League clubs, while sides from other top European leagues will be able to formally complete signings on 1 July.

Nevertheless, some huge transfers have already been announced around Europe. Barcelona have made the biggest splash of the summer so far by buying Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon for a whopping €80 million.

Real Madrid are going big, too, after two disappointing seasons. They have acquired Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella in a surprise €55m deal and are expected to complete the signings of Denzel Dumfries from Inter and Ibrahima Konate from Liverpool.

Liverpool have replaced Konate with Jeremy Jacquet, for whom a €63.6m transfer was agreed over the winter. He has now formally joined the Reds.

Chelsea have welcomed Geovany Quenda, Denner, Dastan Satpaev and Emmanuel Emegha to Stamford Bridge this summer after pre-agreeing deals previously.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have completed the signings of Andrew Robertson and Marcos Senesi on Bosman deals, while Man Utd are expected to announce the €45m purchase of Atalanta midfielder Ederson in July.

More big names are likely to be on the move this summer, with Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson the subject of several offers from Man City. Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton could also be on the move.

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez is fielding interest from Arsenal, Barcelona and Real Madrid, with the latter having seen an audacious €150m bid rejected in early June.

The likes of Mohamed Salah, John Stones, Robert Lewandowski, Leon Goretzka and David Alaba will become free agents on 30 June and will be on the lookout for new clubs.
