Juventus are looking to replace Adrien Rabiot with Jorginho, according to a report.

Both midfielders are out of contract in the summer and face uncertain futures. Rabiot has been in good form for Juventus this term and the Italian giants are still hopeful of keeping the Frenchman, though the demands of his eccentric agent and mother could prove a stumbling block.

This isn't the first time Rabiot has been in this situation either. In both of the previous two summers, the 29-year-old was free to depart Turin but instead decided to remain to sign one-year contract extensions. This summer could be different, though.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that playing in the Premier League is a 'dream' for the former Man City academy prospect and Man Utd are once again said to be interested, as they had been in the two previous years.

Jorginho to Juventus?

The man Juventus would like to sign as a replacement should Rabiot indeed decide to leave is Arsenal midfielder Jorginho. The 32-year-old has somewhat surprisingly become a favourite of coach Mikel Arteta due to his intelligence and ability to retain possession but it is still not clear whether he will remain at the Emirates.

It has been claimed that the former Napoli man is keen to return to Italy and CaughtOffside asserts that he is a concrete target for Juventus in the event of Rabiot's departure. The Italy international also has suitors elsewhere around Europe and in Asia, however.

The outlet goes so far as to state that the Bianconeri have a 'strong chance of landing the Italian star,' but it seems that it is still too early for anything definitive to develop on that front. In fact, it still seems very possible that he could extend his stay at Arsenal.
