Donald Trump’s attorney Joe Tacopina has jokingly revealed what it would take for the former United States president to buy Inter Milan.

The Italian giants are up for sale as their current Chinese owners Suning have been plagued by financial problems over the past couple of years.

But could a shock bid arrive from one of the most famous men in the world?

In an interview with the Italian Football Podcast, the president of Serie B side Tacopina spoke about Trump’s interest in football and Calcio.

Tacopina is one of America’s top trial attorneys and was recently hired by Trump.

During the interview, Tacopina was asked if he could convince Trump to buy Inter from the Chinese.

What did Tacopina say about Trump?

“If I challenged him and said ‘you will never win anything with Inter’, he would then probably buy Inter to prove to me I was wrong!,” Tacopina joked.

“He likes soccer a little bit. Golf is much more his passion. He’s not an avid Calcio fan but he understands and likes sports.

“We have had some discussions about SPAL. He knows I am here. He called me the other day when I was in the stadium.

“He called me right after we scored a goal. We have scored like four goals all year, so God forbid I get to enjoy one of our goals for more than 35 seconds!

“But that’s okay, that’s par for the course when you are representing someone like the president.”

Tacopina also added that Trump shouldn’t be ruled out from returning to the White House for a second time at the next general election in 2024.

“Anyone who is stupid enough to rule him out becoming president again…he still has a massive support base in the United States,” Tacopina said.

Trump’s first term in office was from 2017 to 2021 after winning the 2016 election.
