Tammy Abraham’s €40 million move from Chelsea to Roma last year has so far proven to be money well spent and it appears to be fruitful for his agent too.
The England international has netted 23 times in all competitions this season to set the record for most goals by Roma player in their debut campaign.

Abraham turned down interest from Premier League sides to link up with former Chelsea boss Jose Moruinho at the Stadio Olimpico and La Gazzetta dello Sport have revealed just how much was paid to his agent to secure the move.
According to the Italian outlet, Abraham’s representatives received €800,000 upon signing and will be paid the same amount for the next four seasons, making Roma the third-highest spenders on agent fees in Serie A in 2021.
How did Roma’s spending on agents compare to their rivals?
The Giallorossi spent just under €26m on agents, behind Inter (€27.5m) and Juventus (€28.9m) making up a total of €174m from all the clubs in the league – a 26% increase from the previous year.
The top three spenders were significantly higher than the rest of the league, with the average across all clubs being €8.7m.
League leaders Milan spent the fourth-most on agents with €12.5m while second-placed Napoli’s €6.9m was only the eighth highest.

Despite their big outlay, Roma currently sit fifth in Serie A after 30 games and are eight points behind Juventus in the final qualifying spot for the Champions League.
The second-biggest signing in the club’s history, Roma will be hoping Abraham is here for the long-haul, with Chelsea having the option to buy back the 24-year-old next summer for €80m.
Abraham will be hoping his good form can put him back into England contention ahead of this year’s World Cup, with the forward often missing out on Gareth Southgate’s squads this season.
However, if Roma fail to qualify for the Champions League, Abraham could find himself further down the pecking order for his country and potentially considering his future at the club.
