PokerStars Sports FR analysed which players in Europe’s top five leagues have scored and created the most goals in all competitions for club and country.

And it is the Bayern Munich hitman who comes out on top with an incredible 58 goals and assists in 2021 for FCB and the Poland national team.

In second place is another Bundesliga goal machine in Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.

The 21-year-old has an equally impressive haul of 53 goals and assists for BVB and the Norway national team.

Completing the podium is a certain Lionel Messi, despite his slow start at new club PSG.

Three goals and assists further back is Kylian Mbappe, who has racked up 48 this calendar year for PSG and France. Not bad for a player who supposedly has had a disappointing year!

In joint-fifth position is two La Liga attackers.

Karim Benzema has been Real Madrid’s star man ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left the club in 2018 and he continues to impress despite being set to turn 34 soon.

Benzema has 47 goals and assists in 2021for Real Madrid and France. And, like Mbappe, was massively impressive in France’s UEFA Nations League victory over Spain on Sunday.

Also on 47 goals and assists is Barcelona newboy Memphis Depay. The Dutchman has not quite hit the ground running yet for the Blaugrana but he has still tallied up a massive amount of goals and assists over the course of this year.
