Real Madrid are ready to make a dramatic change to their attack, with Los Blancos ready to pair Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior with one of the most in-form stars of world football.

Although the future of Vini Jr has been up in the air for several months owing to a deadlock in contract talks, there appears a belief that the Brazilian will ultimately stay at the club to join a new dream attack that will continue to be spearheaded by Mbappe.

The Frenchman has been Real Madrid’s go-to star this season, which was underlined by his Champions League hat-trick against Kairat. But there is a fear that they are becoming too reliant on the former PSG star, and it appears Xabi Alonso’s side want to make a blockbuster signing in order to balance their team out.

Real Madrid are ready to make a move for Mbappe’s compatriot Michael Olise, Fichajes reports. The former Crystal Palace star has been in eye-catching form himself this season and delivered an outstanding solo goal in Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash against Pafos.

With eight goals and eight assists this season, Olise is one of the most in-form players in the world currently. Bayern are ready to open talks with him over a new contract, but equally, if he is to leave, it will only be for a fee of €100 million or more.

Head coach Xabi Alonso believes that with Mbappe and Vini Jr providing “pace and punch” on the left, Olise would offer more poise and creativity off the right.

How Olise will fit in at Real Madrid

Real Madrid’s plan for Olise is clear. He will play off the right wing, with Vini Jr continuing on the left and Mbappe working through the middle.

Franco Mastantuono will become the main backup figure in the squad, learning from the Frenchman but also being able to step up at key moments.

On the other hand, Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz will both be sacrificed. Indeed, Rodrygo’s transfer fee could pay for much of Olise’s arrival, with Manchester City reportedly interested in him once more.
