Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick has admitted that he would be open to a move to Barcelona in the future.

The 15-year-old is emerging as one of the top young talents in Brazil thanks to his exploits for the Palmeiras youth sides.

Within the young ranks of the club, he is said to have scored upwards of 150 goals.

Endrick already has enough pressure on his young shoulders, and that has been exacerbated by the fact that he has been compared to none other than Brazilian legend Ronaldo in his homeland.

In January, he admitted that he is a Real Madrid fan and that Cristiano Ronaldo is his idol.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is my idol. He is a spectacular man, a phenomenon. I have to follow in his footsteps,” Endrick said to Marca.

“Real Madrid are a club I'm very fond of because of Ronaldo, who I always followed, with the four Champions League trophies he won there.

“I have a lot of love for Real Madrid because of Cristiano, although I have also looked up some of their history and they are a very good team.

“It is very gratifying for me to know that they are watching me and seeing my games. I am very grateful to God for that. I have to do more, it's not good enough yet, I have to give more. I still have a way to go.

“I support Vinicius Jr a lot and I support Real Madrid to win another Champions League.”

Barca an option for Endrick?

Though Endrick has a clear soft spot for Real Madrid, he has now admitted that Barcelona may be an option for him in the future, too.

"It's a club where many players have passed who inspire us young people, like Neymar Jr, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Romario, and Ronaldinho," he told Sport.

"All the boys who want to play abroad think of Barça because of Neymar Jr. who is from our generation.

"If one day the time to leave arrives, maybe Barça can be an option."
