A whopping 81 per cent of Football Transfers readers believe that Ronald Koeman should be sacked as Barcelona manager with immediate effect.

We polled readers and asked them whether they felt the under-fire Barca boss should be dismissed.

We received over 1600 votes from fans, with 81 per cent saying yes he should be sacked and 19% believing he should stay for now.

Koeman is under huge pressure at Camp Nou after a miserable start to the 2021-22 season.

His team are bottom of their Champions League group after suffering successive 3-0 defeats to Bayern Munich and Benfica.

He also recently embarked on a three-match winless run, which ended on Sunday during the 3-0 victory over Levante, only for the pressure to pile on again on Wednesday against Benfica.

Koeman is considered to be at risk of the axe between now and the end of the upcoming international break.

Koeman was close to being dismissed at the end of last season but managed to survive into the new campaign.

His contract at the club expires at the end of the season and it is claimed it will cost up to €12 million to fire Koeman now.
