Lionel Messi will go down as one of, if not the greatest footballer of all time.
With his many successes has come a raft of records that have been matched and then exceeded, both with Barcelona and Argentina.
He has won La Liga on 10 occasions and has four Champions League and seven Copa del Rey titles to his name.
He has now also won a major trophy for Argentina, lifting the 2021 Copa America.
On an individual level, he has won a record six Ballon d'Or awards which further highlights his impact on the game.
Until the summer of 2021,Messi had only played with one club team in his senior career and of course just one country, so all of the historic records gained have come with just two teams.
