Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has hinted at a summer departure for Yuri Tielemans by suggesting that there will be ‘big changes’ at the Premier League side after this season.

The Belgium international has been widely regarded as Leicester’s next big departure, due to his contract expiring next summer and the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all chasing his signature.

And while Leicester fans may not be delighted at the thought, Rodgers seemed to suggest that a big turnover in players could be inevitable in a couple of months' time.

“For us, our focus is very much on the summer window," said Rodgers at a press conference.

"We know we need to make big changes to freshen up the squad and the planning is well under way for that.

“It’s tough in January, anyway. It was not through a lack of trying or ambition by the club.

“It’s a club that’s run financially very well, but it’s a window that was always going to be difficult for us."

How much would Tielemans cost Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd?

Rodgers is right to be concerned about Tielemans’ future, due to the fact that there is good reason to believe Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd could get serious about their interest in the player.

Each Premier League giant is in desperate need of midfield reinforcements in the summer, following Gini Wijnaldum’s departure from Anfield, the Old Trafford side failing to sign West Ham star Declan Rice this season and Arsenal's own midfield issues caused by player sales.

Meanwhile, Leicester's form this season has seen them fall off the pace of the leading teams and ambitious players will be seeking more.

So how much would Tielemans cost either club in a few months time? As things currently stand, the Belgium international is currently valued at €55 million due to the fact that he still has some time left on his deal at Leicester.

Indeed, Tielemans' expiring contract could force Leicester's hand into a sale as they are unlikely to be willing to part with their most valuable asset for nothing 12 months later.

For this reason, it is reported by The Sun, that the player's asking price is set to be cut from €59.5 million (£50m) to €41.6m (£35m) by Leicester.

Tielemans, then, appears more accessible than ever for Man Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal.
