Transfer rumour: Giorgi Makaridze from Moreirense FC to SL Benfica

Will Giorgi Makaridze leave Moreirense and join Benfica?

Benfica's pursuit of Giorgi Makaridze reaches new heights. Numerous reports indicating a 82% probability of the goalkeeper making the switch to his potential new club. Here is why.

Benfica has often bought players who are approximately the same age as the current age of Giorgi Makaridze (36).
Giorgi Makaridze is in a favorable situation regarding potential playing time, as there are only a limited number of direct competitors for his position within the current Benfica squad. This significantly increases his chances to prove himself and become a key player on the field.
