No more Ed Woodward, and hopefully a structure which can set up the club for future success. Expect many players to leave and several to come in.

Ten Hag insists Antony has improved recently

Antony has so far failed to live up to his mammoth £90 million price tag, to say the least.

But, Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag INSISTS that his Brazilian winger has improved recently:

"Lately he has been progressing. He scored [last] Saturday, gave two assists against Chelsea. The first part of the season was not at the level he can play at, but he has improved in the last few months.

"You can see the potential, the player he can be. It just depends on him. He has to work hard in training, outside the club too, in the gym, to reach the best version of him."

Ten Hag: Only Mourinho got the players he wanted at Man Utd

Erik ten Hag says the only recent Man Utd manager to get the players he wanted at the club was Jose Mourinho.

“I think that, with the exception of (José) Mourinho, the coaches didn’t have the players they wanted. If you manage Manchester United, you need incredible players”, he told reporters.

“And you also need to be patient with the process. We have 24 players with great potential and we need to develop them individually and as a team. I am confident that we will achieve our goals But the Premier League is a tough competition. It’s not a two-horse race, there are seven or eight contenders for the title, with a great squad. If you want to fight for the title, you have to build a strong squad."

Ten Hag to Bayern Munich?

Ten Hag keeping an eye on Sancho

Man Utd are monitoring the progress of Jadon Sancho on loan at Borussia Dortmund, according to Erik ten Hag.

Back in December, Ten Hag and Sancho fell out which resulted in the player being banned from the dressing room. BVB want to keep him on a permanent basis but the fee could be an issue.

"We are visiting [his] games," Ten Hag told reporters on Monday.

"We visited, I would not say all of the games, but we have seen more games from Dortmund where Jadon was performing."

Man Utd face a battle to sign Joshua Zirkzee as Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti has confirmed the club's interest in the Bologna forward.

He told Radio Serie A: "Zirkzee is a great champion. We are talking about a young, talented, intelligent, physically very strong player. Someone like that would be useful to any great team aiming for important goals. If an important opportunity presents itself, maybe we can think about it."

Man Utd hoping to raise £100 MILLION from Sancho and Greenwood

Two players who look likely to leave Old Trafford are Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho, on loan at Getafe and Borussia Dortmund.

The Man Utd hierarchy are confident they can raise as much as £100 million by selling the pair. (GiveMeSport)
