Liverpool learn how much it will cost to sign Mohamed Salah 'replacement'
Valencia are set to extend the contract of winger David Otorbi amid interest from Liverpool, according to Tribuna Deportiva.
The La Liga side are poised to activate a clause that will tie the 19-year-old to the Mestalla until the summer of 2031.
Tribuna Deportiva understands the move will also double his release clause from €30million (£25.1m) to €60m (£50.2m).

Valencia have reportedly been forced into action after learning Liverpool have developed an interest in signing Otorbi.
The Reds continue to be linked with several right-sided attackers following the departure of Mohamed Salah at the end of last season.
Liverpool have used Victor Munoz in that position of late, with the Spain star scoring a wonderful goal in the 2-1 win over Brentford last weekend.
Cody Gakpo, Bradley Barcola and Rio Ngumoha have also featured on the right flank this season - though the trio prefer to play on the left.
Otorbi is a product of Valencia's youth system
Otorbi is developing a reputation as one of the best young players in Spain after breaking into the Valencia first team on a consistent basis.
He became the youngest debutant in Valencia's history when facing Cartagena in the Copa del Rey in January 2024 - aged 16 years, two months and 19 days old.

Otorbi is also the youngest player to represent Valencia in La Liga, featuring against Barcelona in August 2024 - then aged 16 years and 306 days old.
The Spain Under-18 international has made 14 appearances for the Valencia first team, scoring his first goal in the league draw with Racing Santander this month.
However, Otorbi is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in the 2-1 home loss against Villarreal on Saturday.

Liverpool meanwhile are looking to make it four wins in a row when they entertain high-flying Brighton and Hove Albion this afternoon.
Andoni Iraola’s men have beaten LASK, Brentford and Villarreal in their last three games across the Champions League and Premier League.
Brighton, on the other hand, are one of the most in-form teams in Europe at the moment, having constructed an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
