Enzo to City, Mudryk to Spurs and every major signing set to be announced tonight
The summer transfer window is almost over and clubs across Europe are running out of time to finish their business on Deadline Day.
Several major deals have already been confirmed today, including Aston Villa’s double signing of Ibrahim Mbaye and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, and Gabriel Jesus’ move to Barcelona, but the market will remain incredibly busy right up until tonight’s deadline.
Below, FootballTransfers runs through a host of deals still yet to be formally announced.
Enzo Fernandez to Man City
Enzo Fernandez is desperate to join Manchester City and while a fee has not yet been finalised, there is significant optimism that a deal will be agreed before the end of Deadline Day.
Lamine Camara to Chelsea
This deal isn’t guaranteed, but Lamine Camara is Chelsea’s preferred replacement for Fernandez as things stand, after difficulties in their bid to sign Manu Kone, and the AS Monaco star wants to join.
Kevin Danso to Sunderland
Sunderland have fully agreed a deal for Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Kevin Danso, with the player keen to join in order to improve his chances of regular game time.
Tosin Adarabioyo to Tottenham
In response to losing Danso, Spurs moved quickly to reach an agreement for Tosin Adarabioyo and he will arrive from Chelsea on a permanent deal.
Mykhailo Mudryk to Tottenham
Tosin isn’t the only Chelsea player set to join Tottenham either, with Mykhailo Mudryk arriving on loan with an option to buy for just under €90m. It comes after his doping ban was lifted earlier this summer.
Iliman Ndiaye to Man City
Tottenham decided to finalise a deal for Mudryk after failing to sign Iliman Ndiaye, and the Senegal star is now on the verge of becoming a Man City player for around €75m.
Shumaira Mheuka to Celtic
Shumaira Mheuka has been in contract extension talks with Chelsea all summer and after finalising an agreement with the Blues, he is now set to join Celtic on loan.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles to Everton
Everton have been chasing a new right-back for years and they have now struck a deal to bring Ainsley Maitland-Niles back to the Premier League for roughly €5m.
Folarin Balogun to Everton
The Toffees are set to sell Beto to Fiorentina and they have lined up Folarin Balogun as his replacement. The USMNT star will officially be unveiled once his medical is completed.
Jack Grealish
In their third deal of Deadline Day, Everton will re-sign Jack Grealish on loan from Man City following his successful spell at the club last season.
Malick Fofana to Crystal Palace or Sunderland
After Arsenal decided against matching Lyon’s asking price, Sunderland reached an agreement to sign Malick Fofana, but Crystal Palace have attempted to hijack the deal. He must now decide who to join.
Robert Sanchez to Como
After Chelsea’s decision to sign Emiliano Martinez, Robert Sanchez has been demoted to third choice and he is in Como to complete a season-long loan move to Cesc Fabregas’ side.
Ethan Nwaneri to Borussia Dortmund
Ethan Nwaneri had initially been keen to remain at Arsenal, however he is now heading to Borussia Dortmund on loan, with a temporary deal fully agreed.
Nick Woltemade to Juventus
Juventus have agreed a loan deal for Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade and the move will be announced shortly.
Louis Page to Man Utd
