Mane has racked up 896 minutes of action from a possible 900 in Wolves’ last 10 English top flight fixtures, scoring two goals and providing one assist during that time, and he has caught the eye despite the club’s immense struggles.

The teenager, who is eligible for both England and Portugal, has over three years remaining on his current contract at Molineux, but he has been widely tipped to depart the club when their relegation back down to the Championship is confirmed this summer.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd are among the teams keeping close tabs on Mane’s development and it is Arne Slot’s side who are currently leading the race for his signature, as per CaughtOffside.

The Reds are understood to have held face-to-face talks with Mane’s representatives over a potential summer move and they are ready to submit a formal offer for his services when the 2026 summer transfer window opens.

However, Wolves are demanding a fee of roughly €60 million for the England U18 international and it’s reported that Liverpool are eager to negotiate a slightly lower fee in order to reduce their potential outlay.

Analysis: Will Mateus Mane join Liverpool?

Despite his lack of top-level experience, Mane has already impressed in the Premier League and he has been tipped to stay in the English top flight next season, despite Wolves’ imminent relegation.

A move to Liverpool may be slightly premature, especially given fellow England youngster Rio Ngumoha is yet to establish himself as a first-team regular, but it’s no surprise that elite Premier League clubs are eyeing a summer move.

Chelsea and Manchester City will likely be interested in a deal too, while CaughtOffside have confirmed that Arsenal will be in the mix for Mane’s signature, despite the plethora of options already at Mikel Arteta’s disposal.
