Nothing seems to stand in the way of Casemiro leaving Manchester United, French media report.

Paris Saint-Germain are interested and the 31-year-old defensive midfielder is also said to be open to a transfer. The Red Devils are also reportedly willing to work on a move for the Brazilian. It was previously announced that Casemiro was dissatisfied with Man Utd and regretted coming to Old Trafford.

After a season and a half, Casemiro's adventure in Manchester seems to already be coming to an end. Man Utd had signed him from Real Madrid for a whopping €71 million in the summer of 2022 in a move that raised questions at the time given his age.

Although the defensive midfielder has always been a regular fixture under coach Erik ten Hag since his arrival, reports have still begun trickling out about a desire to leave. According to Spanish media, this could be partly due to the interest of the English giants in João Neves and the 'institutional instability' within the club.

Casemiro to PSG?

Casemiro's exit wish could become reality in the upcoming transfer window, French media write. PSG are keen to add the 31-year-old to their squad and it appears that Man Utd need the sale to strengthen the current squad.

In addition to the interest, it is claimed that Casemiro's management has actively offered him to the perennial French champions, which means that everything indicates that nothing stands in the way of a transfer.

PSG are not the only club interested in Casemiro. The five-time Champions League winner is also a name being discussed in Saudi Arabia, particularly at Al-Hilal where he could earn as much as €20m per year. An as-yet-unknown Italian club are also said to be interested in the Brazilian midfielder.

Casemiro is still under contract at Manchester United until 2026 and currently boasts an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €31m, having endured a quite drastic devaluation this term due to his age and unimpressive performances.
