Specifically, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are closing in on a January move for Gabriel Moscardo, having made an opening bid for the Corinthians midfielder who has been likened to Declan Rice.

But landing the 18-year-old promises to be no easy task, with competition hot for a young man expected to make his club a record transfer fee.
