Kylian Mbappe remains fully dedicated to his ongoing season with Paris Saint-Germain and there is no indication of any interest from Liverpool, FootballTransfers can reveal.
Those close to the striker have dismissed any connections to the Reds, pointing to previous speculation about an Anfield switch as wide of the mark. Despite recent reports, Mbappe's primary focus is steering PSG successfully through the Champions League group stages.
It is emphasised that Mbappe will defer any decisions regarding his future at the Parc des Princes until there is greater clarity on PSG's standing in the competition. The Frenchman is committed to ensuring that, regardless of his eventual choice, PSG's interests are safeguarded in the future.
Mbappe saves PSG's blushes
Mbappe found a late penalty to secure a point against Newcastle on Tuesday night, after what was a testing display for the Ligue 1 outfit.
The Magpies found the first goal through Alexander Isak, who netted home from a rebound, but then PSG answered in injury time after VAR awarded the club a penalty.
Mbappe scored the resulting penalty to keep PSG's Champions League hopes alive. The French club are now second place in their group, with an away fixture to Borussia Dortmund to play next. If they win they will ensure progress into the knockout stages of the competition, regardless of Newcastle's result against AC Milan.
