Chelsea and Bayern Munich will rival Manchester United for the signature of Luis Guilherme, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian transfer expert recently revealed that, in addition to Flamengo youngster Lorran, the Red Devils are also keeping scouts in Brazil to watch Palmeiras wonderkid Luis Guilherme.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder is a bit further in his development than his Flamengo counterpart, but it won't be easy to snap up either of them. Like Lorran, Guilherme is also being watched by Chelsea, Romano has now revealed.

Additionally, Bayern Munich are also in the mix and they, too, have sent their scouts to South America to keep a close watch on Guilherme.

What did Romano say?

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said: "Luis Guilherme is doing very good with Palmeiras. I told you that many clubs were in attendance to keep an eye on the boy in the semi-final of the Copa Libertadores against Boca [Juniors], and among these clubs, there were two...not just Man Utd, as I told you a couple of days ago, but also Bayern and Chelsea."

"Both Bayern and Chelsea are interested. At the moment, there is still no formal bid from Chelsea, from Bayern, from any club. All these clubs are keeping an eye on the player, keeping contacts to understand how much Palmeiras really want for Luis Guilherme."

"It could be similar to the Endrick package, so a fixed fee with some add-ons, that's the idea of the Palmeiras president. But, in any case, a lot of interest in this boy. Chelsea will keep monitoring this boy, Luis Guilherme. On the side of Bayern, they have decided to keep some of their scouts in South America to keep monitoring the boy and then decide whether they want to bid and try to sign him or not."
