The Glazer family have taken Man Utd OFF the market as they look to achieve £10 billion with the club's sale, according to the Daily Mail.

The news was broken exclusively by Nick Harris and Alex Miller, who report that the Glazers were left unsatisfied with the £6bn bids that came from Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and think they can get more later.

"The Glazers are going to take Manchester United off the market, having failed to get close to their anticipated asking price, according to a source with long-standing close ties to the American family," Harris and Miller have reported.

The Glazers reportedly feel they can get up to £10bn for United if they sell in 2025, at which point there will be increased TV rights revenues, and expanded FIFA Club World Cup and the 'United' 2026 World Cup on the horizon, with heightened interest in the sport from US billionaires expected.

The news will come as a disappointment for Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who had been keen on buying the club.

Jadon Sancho vs Erik ten Hag

Jadon Sancho has hit back at Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag after the Red Devils manager did not select him in the matchday squad to face Arsenal.

When asked about why the Englishman was not picked, Ten Hag said: “Jadon wasn’t picked [today] on his performance in training. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. That’s why in this game he wasn't selected.”

The former Borussia Dortmund forward posted on Twitter: “Please don’t believe everything you read!

“I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!

“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”

Greenwood WANTED Lazio move

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has hit out at Man Utd after failing to complete a loan move for Mason Greenwood, with the player joining Getafe instead.

"I tried until the last minute," Lotito told La Lazio Siamo Noi shortly after the Italian transfer window closed on Friday evening. "[Man Utd] didn't countersign in time. He wanted to come to Lazio."

Revealed: Why Van de Beek DIDN'T secure Lorient move

A transfer to Ligue 1 side FC Lorient was also a possibility for wantaway Man Utd star Donny van de Beek, but the French outfit were unwilling to discuss a deal for the former Ajax man on Deadline Day.

That has been reported by L’Equipe, who have revealed that Van de Beek’s attitude towards the club dissuaded them from pushing for a late move for the former Netherlands international.

According to the report, Lorient were interested in signing Van de Beek in mid-August, but he refused to discuss a move despite a loan agreement being reached by the two clubs.

The Dutchman’s representatives then contacted Lorient at 10pm on Deadline Day in an attempt to secure a deal after a change of heart from Van de Beek.

However, Lorient did not appreciate the Dutchman refusing a move before then attempting to negotiate a last minute transfer. As a result, he remains a Man Utd player.
