Manchester United’s potential Qatari owners want to sign Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga and Kingsley Coman if they are successful in taking over at Old Trafford.

Final offers to buy Man Utd – who were put on the market by current owners the Glazers back in November – must be submitted by the end of April.

Bids led by prominent Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe – a lifelong Man Utd fan – are the frontrunners to succeed.

And it appears as though Sheikh Jassim and co. have already got to work thinking about potential summer transfer plans.

According to German journalist Christian Falk, they want to bring Mbappe, Camavinga and Coman to Man Utd from PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively.

It rather goes without saying that signing those three players would come at quite a cost: the trio have a combined Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of a whopping €269.5m.

Mbappe to solve Man Utd's number nine need?

Man Utd’s top priority for the next transfer window remains a centre-forward, but there’s little to no chance of that being Mbappe – whose ETV stands at an eye-watering €138.6m without a mega-money takeover.

The Glazers are said to want a minimum of €6.8m (£6m) for Man Utd, where they took full control back in 2005 but, in recent years, have faced increasingly vociferous protests from fans – who have often accused the Americans of a lack of ambition.

Currently sitting fourth in the Premier League under Erik ten Hag, Man Utd are well on course to return to the Champions League next season – meaning freshly filled coffers would be most welcome.
