Arsenal have had a good summer so far and added to it with their fine start to the season, and it could still get better for them in the coming weeks.

The Gunners have been linked to a few players in the final weeks of the window, and a move could soon be completed for Spanish winger Yeremy Pino.

The Villarreal attacker has been linked with a £33 million move from the La Liga side to the Emirates Stadium, as his club look to raise funds after missing out on the Champions League this season.

Villarreal are keen to gain as big a fee as possible, and although he has a high release clause of £67.5 million, the Yellow Submarine are willing to negotiate a reasonable price.

Edu spotted boarding plane

Rumours over the move intensified after Arsenal Sporting Director Edu was spotted boarding a plane to Valencia, with many believing it was to negotiate the transfer.

Edu was spotted boarding a RyanAir flight to Spain, and fans identified him getting onto the plane and uploading pictures of it on Twitter.

Pino has been one of Villarreal’s stars over the years, having done well last season as his club reached the last four of Europe’s premier club competition.

Arsenal have been linked with several wingers this season, including former Leeds United man Raphinha, who ended up going to Barcelona instead.

The club have already signed the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City, as well as Fabio Vieira from FC Porto, while Marquinho and Matt Turner have arrived with secondary roles.

Jesus and Zinchenko have already starred for the Gunners, with the former scoring twice in his home league debut against Leicester City over the weekend.

Should Arsenal get a deal over the line for the player, it will make them one of Europe’s biggest spenders this year as they look to bolster Mikel Arteta’s team and get back into the Champions League.
