There are few clubs in the Premier League that need a squad revamp as much as Arsenal this summer.
Mikel Arteta has already done a great job of selling a number of older and more expensive stars that weren’t quite living up their billing in recent seasons, but the Spanish manager will know that more needs to be done to get Arsenal back to where they think they belong.

As such, the London club are likely to see more departures at the end of the season and it seems as though one of the main candidates for the exit door is none other than winger Nicolas Pepe.
According to Calciomercato, the club are seriously considering offers for the Ivory Coast international and in many ways that’s the smart thing to do ahead of next season.

Should Arsenal sell Pepe?
Whichever way you chalk it up, there’s no way in which Pepe has been anything but a major flop since he made the move to Arsenal in 2019.
Signed for a remarkable £72 million from Lille, the winger has struggled since day one to live up to the hype and to date has managed just 27 goals and 20 assists in 107 games for the club in all competitions.
When we couple that with the fact that Pepe still has a contract with the club until the summer of 2024, it makes perfect sense for Arteta and his backroom staff to sell the winger in the coming months if at all possible.
How much could Arsenal sell Pepe for?
Although Pepe has struggled in the Premier League, the winger clearly has a degree of talent that made him such a successful player in France in the first place.
As such, there should still be a market for the winger, who is also still only 26 years of age and has plenty of time to grow into a new role at a new club.
According to the aforementioned Italian publication, Arsenal will be hoping for around £25m for Pepe this summer, which certainly lines up with his FootballTransfers value of €20m at this moment in time.
