The 2025 summer transfer window is officially open and clubs are now able to complete business during a 10-day period due to the Club World Cup.

FIFA have introduced a mini transfer window from 1-10 June thanks to the presence of the inaugural summer Club World Cup, and teams across world football possess the ability to bolster their squads with new signings as a result.

There are now just two days remaining until this initial window closes so teams need to get a move on if they want to complete transfers in time for the Club World Cup.

The transfer window will then briefly shut before reopening on 16 June for clubs in the Premier League and 1 July for the majority of European leagues. It will then stay open until Deadline Day on 1 September.

Several high-profile transfers have already been confirmed, although many will be formally completed on 1 July.

1 June saw Real Madrid officially complete the signings of Liverpool superstar Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen, and Manchester United confirm the arrival of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
