Rangers are currently locked in a fiercely-contested title fight with Hearts and Celtic, but the club’s hierarchy are already looking ahead to the upcoming summer window.

The early months of Danny Rohl’s spell in charge suggests he is the right man for the job and it has been widely reported that he will be backed in the market following the conclusion of the current campaign.

Below, FootballTransfers runs through five players who could join Rangers this summer.

Luca Stephenson (Liverpool, on loan at Dundee United)

Rangers are interested in signing Liverpool youngster Luca Stephenson this summer amid the uncertain future of club captain James Tavernier.

Stephenson has played as a right-back, a central midfielder and a right winger so far for Dundee United this season, and Rangers are reportedly plotting a summer swoop for the versatile Englishman.

He signed a new long-term contract at Liverpool before rejoining Dundee United on loan last summer, but it’s reported that a permanent sale may be permitted this year.

Mikey Moore (Tottenham Hotspur, on loan at Rangers)

Mikey Moore has been an excellent loan signing for Rangers this season and he has firmly established himself as a fan favourite throughout his short stint at the club.

The England U19 winger has confirmed that he wants to return to Tottenham Hotspur next year, but he has left the door open to moving back to Ibrox and a deal could feasibly be agreed if Spurs avoid relegation and look to strengthen their attack.

Rohl has already admitted that he wants to keep Moore at the club for another season and a second loan spell remains a possibility.

Elijah Just (Motherwell)

Elijah Just has been in excellent form during his debut campaign at Motherwell and Rangers have earmarked him as one of their top targets for this summer as they look to add extra potency to their attack.

The New Zealand international is also wanted by Celtic, but Rangers are eager to win the race for his signature and they are expected to chase a deal when the summer window opens.

Just has been one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership in 2026 and he could be set to leave Motherwell after just one year at the club.

Joe Gelhardt (Leeds United, on loan at Hull City)

Joe Gelhardt has been an integral player for Hull City since his arrival on loan last January and the Championship side are understood to be keen on finalising a permanent agreement this summer.

The Englishman’s current contract at Leeds United is due to expire in 2027 and it has been reported that a sale will be permitted, with the Elland Road outfit unlikely to finalise fresh terms with the forward.

However, Rangers are also interested in signing Gelhardt and rumours claim that he is eager to join the Scottish giants this summer as Rohl looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of 2026-27.

Luke Graham (Dundee)

Luke Graham has been linked with both Celtic and Rangers in recent months, and it has been claimed that Rohl’s side are now ready to accelerate their pursuit of his signature.

The centre-back has been a standout performer for Dundee this term and he is said to be keen on making a move to Ibrox this summer.

Rangers are eager to prioritise signing talented young players during the upcoming window and 22-year-old Graham fits into that strategy perfectly.
