Kylian Mbappe’s agent has claimed that she would have sought a contract worth €10 billion from PSG if it was possible.

Fayza Lamari, who is also the player’s mother, looks after Mbappe’s financial affairs and will be a key figure in the destiny of the 25-year-old attacker.

Out of contract in the summer, the France international is linked with a move away from PSG as a free agent, with Real Madrid and Liverpool the two clubs more pertinently in the running according to media reports.

Mbappe finds himself in a similar situation as 18 months ago, when he appeared likely to move to the Bernabeu side but elected to stay at PSG by signing a further two-year deal.

Lamari, who is known as a tough negotiator, explained that she was simply playing the system by securing a contract worth a reported €72 million per year.

“There’s no guilty, no shame,” she told ‘Envoye Special’ in an extract published by Le Parisien. “If we could have taken €10 billion, we’d have done that because it’s the system that demands it.”

But it’s not just PSG that Lamari negotiates hard with as she threatened to quit her role as Mbappe’s agent over charity donations.

How much money does Mbappe give to charity?

Mbappe gives 30% of his earning to his charity, Inspired By Kylian Mbappe (IBKM), Fayza Lamara revealed. The PSG star’s agent revealed that she had pushed for a higher figure, though.

“I told him: ‘Below 30% and I don’t do it! I’ll retire and do what everyone else does: I’ll go on vacation to the Maldives, but I won’t work for you!’” she said.

“At the beginning, I told him we’re doing 50/50. But we talked and we came down to 30%.

“I told Kylian that I’ll work for him for 23 hours a day, but the only thing I like is IBKM.”

IBKM is a charity that helps young people between 13 and 21 to achieve their professional dreams. On top of his youth work in the Paris region, Mbappe has also helped renovate a school for disabled children in Cameron.
