Champions League draw

RB Salzburg v Bayern Munich
Sporting Lisbon v Manchester City
Benfica v Ajax
Chelsea v Lille
Atletico Madrid v Manchester United
Villarreal v Juventus
Inter v Liverpool
PSG v Real Madrid

The highlights of the second list of fixtures was announced were undoubtedly French giants Paris Saint-Germain being paired alongside Real Madrid, who had initially been tasked with beating Benfica in the previous draw.

The two European giants have been at each other's necks off the pitch over the last 12 months due to both fighting for the long-term future of Kylian Mbappe, but will now have to settle their differences on it.

Elsewhere, Manchester United were controversely drawn alongside Atletico Madrid, after the initial draw was declared null and void when the English side were accidentally excluded from the list of potential opponents for Atleti.

Other tasty ties include Liverpool facing off against Italian champions Inter, Villarreal being tasked with getting the better of Juventus and Bayern Munich making the short trip to RB Salzburg for a spot in the quarter-finals.

The remaining ties saw Chelsea once again get drawn alongside Lille, English champions Manchester City face off against Sporting Lisbon and Portuguese giants Benfica face Ajax.
