Real Madrid face huge decision on new Alonso favourite as 'offers PILE UP'

Offers are starting to 'pile up' for breakout Real Madrid star Gonzalo Garcia, according to Spanish media.
The Club World Cup has deservedly come in for harsh criticism - Jurgen Klopp just called it 'the worst idea ever implemented in football - but there is no denying that the tournament is giving young players a chance to impress in games that are more meaningful than pre-season friendlies.
Although the knockout stages of the competition have yet to begin, Real Madrid prospect Gonzalo Garcia is already one of the biggest beneficiaries of FIFA's latest experiment.
The 21-year-old attacker has starred for Los Blancos in the absence of Kylian Mbappe, contributing to a goal in each of Real Madrid's three group stage games. He netted against Al-Hilal and RB Salzburg and provided an assist against Pachuca.
Garcia has massively impressed so far, but the reality for young players at Real Madrid is that regular game time could be hard to come by, as the likes of Arda Guler, Endrick, Nico Paz and so many others have had to find out the hard way.
Offers piling up for Garcia
As a result, Garcia is starting to draw major interest from suitors, according to AS. In fact, the Spanish outlet goes so far as to suggest that 'offers are piling up' for the versatile attacker, who can feature centrally and out wide.
The report adds that Garcia's emergence is not a surprise to new coach Xabi Alonso, who made sure to pay close attention to Real Madrid's youth sides when it became clear that the LaLiga giants would not continue with Carlo Ancelotti.

Garcia is coming off a hugely impressive 25-goal season for Castilla in the Spanish third division, and he also netted in an eight-minute cameo for the senior side in the Copa del Rey against Leganes.
His style of play has been likened to that of club legend Raul, which is high praise indeed for the former Spain U19 international. Garcia has emerged as a new favourite of Alonso as he has the kind of work rate and physicality that the likes of Mbappe and Vinicius Jr can't match.
However, Garcia is likely to be behind the rest of Real Madrid's senior attackers in the pecking order when everyone is fit and firing. Alonso has already confirmed that he is planning to give significant minutes to Endrick, while Rodrygo is showing no signs of wanting to leave the club.
Getting regular football could be a struggle for Garcia, so he could yet become one to watch this summer. For now, though, Alonso is delighted to have him available.
