Barcelona are still far from finished in the 2022 summer transfer window.

The Blaugrana have been one of the most active sides in all of Europe thus far, despite their much-publicised financial problems.

With debts of €1.3 billion, Barcelona have managed to raise money to spend on the market by selling 10 per cent of their tv rights for the next 25 years for over €200 million.

This has allowed them to splash well over €100m this summer so far on new signings.

The Catalan club signed Raphinha from Leeds earlier this week for €65m from Leeds before announcing the arrival of Bayern Munich superstar this weekend for around €50m.

They also have signed young star Pablo Torre for €5m from Racing Santander and brought in Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie as free transfers from Chelsea and AC Milan, respectively.

Barcelona now plan to make three more signings, according to Sport. They wish to buy a central defender, a right-back and a left-back to complete their roster.

The primary target for the centre-back position is Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, who has already given his okay for the move. A transfer fee just needs to be agreed.

As for the full-back areas, Barcelona hope to sign Chelsea’s two Spain internationals Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso. Both are available at relatively cut-price deals.

As for outgoings, Barcelona are still planning to sell Neto, Oscar Mingueza, Samuel Umtiti, Riqui Puig and Martin Braithwaite.

Frenkie de Jong, Miralem Pjanic and Memphis Depay could also leave, although their futures are not 100 per cent certain. In the case of De Jong, it is because he is resisting a move away amidst club negotiations with Man Utd.

Bernardo Silva is also a dream signing from Manchester City, but Barcelona have privately accepted that economically this will be very difficult for them to do.
