Paris Saint-Germain have their eye on six players who could come in and support Kylian Mbappe as their team takes shape for next season.

Bernardo Silva, also admired by Barcelona, is another name they like. In defence, targets include Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar, whose links to PSG have turned into something of a saga, and Pau Torres of Villarreal.

After another huge European failure, PSG are looking to overhaul the club. The side slumped to defeat against the Germans in the Champions League, as frustration builds over still not obtaining the trophy. It comes after reports that contract extension talks with Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos are on hold as they seek to cut costs.

The former La Liga stars could make up a wider mass exodus for the club, as the side face fears that they may be struck with sanctions for further Financial Fair Play (FFP) breaches. PSG have already been hit with a € 10 million fine for their 2020-21 season accounts.

It means they are looking at restructuring their squad to comply with rules.

L’Equipe reported how players like Carlos Soler, Renato Sanches and Fabian Ruiz may be moved on in the upcoming summer window.

Hugo Ekitike’s loan deal will expire then and he could return to parent club Reims despite it being thought that he would join PSG permanently, with a €35m option-to-buy inserted in the contract.

PSG loanee players

The club also have a number of players who are out on loan, such as Keylor Navas at Nottingham Forest, defenders Colin Dagba at Strasbourg, Abdou Diallo at RB Leipzig, Layvin Kurzawa, who’s at Fulham, Julian Draxler at Benfica), Leandro Paredes at Juventus, Georginio Wijnaldum playing for Roma, and Mauro Icardi who’s playing for Galatasaray.

Either these players will have to be loaned out again or could be sold in the market to increase expenditure.
