Estevao could get new contract

Chelsea remain calm about the situation of Estevao, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Brazil international has struggled for minutes so far under Xabi Alonso, which has given rise to suggestions that he is growing unhappy with his role and could look to push for an exit in January.

However, Romano insists that this is not the case. All parties remain relaxed and Chelsea could even look to open contract talks with the young attacker as they believe that he will have a big role to play going forward.

Man Utd eye Truffert

Man Utd are "lining up" a move for Bournemouth left-back Adrien Truffert, TEAMtalk claims.

The Red Devils have had to amend their transfer plans for 2027 following the news that Lewis Hall has extended his contract at Newcastle, which will make prising him away from St. James' Park next year incredibly difficult.

As a result, alternative options are being considered, with Truffert emerging as a "premier" target. The Frenchman would be interested in the move, but Bournemouth could demand well in excess of €60 million for him.

Chiesa to return to Serie A

Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa is "increasingly likely" to return to Serie A in January, Calciomercato writes.

The Italy international has failed to nail down a regular spot since joining the Reds in 2024, and the situation looks unlikely to change under new head coach Andoni Iraola.

As a result, Chiesa is expected to finally see the writing on the wall and accept that his Anfield adventure was a failure. Numerous Serie A clubs, including reigning champions Inter, are keen to bring him back to Italy.

Kofane to Arsenal?

Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane will sign a new contract imminently, as per Kicker.

The Cameroon international is set to be rewarded for his impressive development over the last year and his decision to reject several Premier League suitors this summer.

However, this new contract is all about maximising his transfer value rather than keeping him at the club long-term. Kofane could be sold next year, with Leverkusen hoping to raise €100m and Arsenal known to be huge admirers of the striker.

Paez axed

Kendry Paez is facing an uncertain future at Chelsea, Fabrizio Romano understands.

The Ecuador international had his loan at River Plate cut short this summer, but the Blues failed to find him a new club, meaning that he is now stuck in the U21. Xabi Alonso has confirmed that he won't be integrated into the first team.

Consequently, Paez's long-term future at Chelsea is in doubt. The club appears to have moved on from the 19-year-old and could look to sell him at the earliest possible opportunity.
