Fabrizio Romano confirms ANOTHER ‘Here We Go’ Liverpool transfer

Fabrizio Romano has given his customary ‘Here We Go’ to confirm Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a deal to sign Jarell Quansah from Liverpool.
Romano reports on Sunday morning that the transfer is all done, with Leverkusen and Liverpool agreeing a deal worth an initial €35 million and €6m in add-ons.
Quansah has agreed a five year contract at Leverkusen that runs until 2030.
The Italian transfer journalist adds that Liverpool have inserted a buy back clause in the deal that will allow them to bring Quansah back to Anfield in the future.
Quansah to Leverkusen
Leverkusen and Liverpool have been in talks for Quansah over the past months and they have now come to an agreement.
Quansah considers playing in the Bundesliga is the best step for his development at this time given the success of many other young English players in the league in recent years.

Sky Germany report that a medical should take place next week, although it may be delayed because Quansah is still playing in the Euro Under-21 finals in Slovakia.
England are in the semi-finals having beaten Spain 3-1 on Saturday evening.
This means we may have to wait a bit longer before this transfer becomes official but Romano says everything is done.
Quansah, 22, came through the Liverpool youth system and broke into the first team setup last season.
He has gone on to make 58 appearances for Liverpool, although he only managed 13 Premier League appearances this past season.
He won the Premier League title in 2024-25 and EFL Cup in 2023-24.
He has yet to play for the England senior national team.
