Manchester United loanee Sofyan Amrabat could remain in the Premier League with Fulham, according to Italian media.

Despite being one of Erik ten Hag's main targets last summer, the Moroccan midfielder has failed to impress at Old Trafford. Man Utd had spent the entire summer window chasing the Fiorentina star in 2023, but they are not expected to make the loan they sealed on Deadline Day permanent.

Amarabat has been a fairly big disappointment at Man Utd and it has pretty much been all but confirmed that he will return to Florence at the end of the current season. However, the 27-year-old is not expected to remain with Fiorentina.

After forcing through his Man Utd move last year, Amrabat essentially ruined his chances of lining up for the Viola again and he is bound to seal a transfer to a different club, with several Italian sides said to be keen.

Chief among them are Juventus, who are looking for a replacement for the banned Paul Pogba, and AC Milan, with their CEO already confirming that they will be in the market for a defensive midfielder.

Amrabat to stay in England?

However, it is still too early for a decision on Amrabat's future to be made and therefore speculation continues to abound. It is also thought possible that the Moroccan could remain in England, though obviously not with Man Utd.

Instead of the Red Devils, Fulham are said to be interested in acquiring Amrabat's services. At least that is according to SportItalia, which claims that the Cottagers would be ready to shell out as much as €30 million on him.

Fiorentina are keen to cash in on him and will ask for a premium, but that amount seems excessive for a player coming off a terrible season. Since joining Man Utd, Amrabat's Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has dropped from €20m to just €12m.
